thoughts on listening and speaking..

There are many who are hard of hearing...
there are few who have a heart for hearing

I have learned with some people,
whatever enters their ears
simply evaporates

Some minds are combustion chambers
and ears are just carburetors...
all the sound that enters,
comes out of the mouth
as smoke and hot air.

Some people are like amplifiers,
the volume of one mouth
is often
twice the input
of two ears.
Usually this results
in much distortion...
