Where’s compassion’s fire
for those who take the fall,
who’s lifted hands will help
friends who’ve lost it all

Our hearts do burn deeply
for those who’ve lost a home,
through embers and the ashes
not one should stand alone

We hold you in our prayers
until the smoke once clears,
our embrace is but a cloth
to help wipe away the tears
