David vs Goliath

We find many bullies in this world,
from early preschool to college,
from our neighbors to nations,
and from businesses to banks

Bullies enslave the weak,
Bullies feed off the poor,
Bullies steal from the meek,
Bullies find little self esteem
until they feel a life crushed
underneath their feet..

In this world full of bullies
amongst Goliath's of this age,
where are all our Davids
who'd stand upon this stage?

i'd rather be the meek
than a bully in this land,
i'd rather have the rock
the same as David had in hand,
i'd rather stand for truth
than to run or worse disband,
i'd rather slay Goliath
than bury my head beneath the sand.
