Human Doings

All i hear is ‘you need to do this',
while others repeat 'you need to do that',
Your words but define a human doing
but see who i am,.. a human being

They are far and few
who deeper can see,
and yet fewer still
believe who we can be

A true friend will stay
there always for you,
never contingent 
on what you can do
